Infant Diary

An infant diary records the memories of the first significant experiences of the offspring. A unique memory for the parents and their loved one and later for the children. Babies experience something new every day and grow up furiously. Many new parents want to capture these moments so that they can remember them better later and so that family and friends can share in the growth of their baby. For this reason, many parents create an infant diary. Starting on the day of birth, an infant diary provides space for photos, text and other mementos each day to capture highlights and memories. During the first year of an infant's life, new steps in development can be observed almost weekly; from here on, the child makes great strides in growth and maturation. Later in life, development is then largely dominated by learning through school and other external influences, until puberty when another major physical development takes place.

Infant

The term infant refers to a child in its first year of life. Characteristically, an infant is a child who is still being fed at the mother's breast or by bottle. An infant is considered a baby from 4 weeks to one year of age. From their birth until then they are called newborns, after completing the first year of life the child is called an infant. In the first year of an infant's life, new steps in development can be observed almost weekly, from here on the child makes great strides in growth and maturation. Later in life, development is then largely dominated by learning through school and other external influences, until puberty, when another major physical development takes place. During the first six weeks, most babies still sleep quite a bit. They wake up to eat and usually only look around for a short time. Sometimes they don't even wake up to be changed.

Diary

A diary is a book or notebook for daily entries of personal experiences and thoughts, often containing the author's experiences of a day from a first-person perspective . A diary can be used for self-reflection, or to record experiences for later reference. Writing down feelings, thoughts and the subjective experience can have a healing effect, especially in processing negative experiences. Daily or regular written entries of any kind in chronological order are considered a diary. These records can consist of notes, lists, questions, and texts of varying lengths, either written by hand or on a smartphone or computer. The individual diary entries are usually dated, sometimes with a heading or supplemented by pictures. Usually a diary is not written with the intention of publication, but there are also published diaries written for this purpose. There are also some literary works in diary form.
